Safety & Compliance — Our Certifications and Regulatory Standing

Safety & Compliance — Our Certifications and Regulatory Standing

A Foundation of Safety, Security, and Compliance

For our clientele, there is no luxury without security and no peace of mind without unimpeachable compliance. At Bali HNWI Services, we have built our entire operational model on a foundation of institutional-grade safety protocols and rigorous adherence to Indonesian and international regulations. We approach compliance not as a requirement to be met, but as a core component of our value proposition. Our clients can be assured that their engagement with us, and through us with Indonesia, is managed with the highest level of professional diligence.

Corporate & Regulatory Standing

We operate with full transparency and in complete accordance with Indonesian law. Our corporate house is in perfect order.

  • Legal Entity: Bali HNWI Services is a legally registered Indonesian Foreign Investment Limited Liability Company (PT PMA), fully compliant with the regulations of the Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM).
  • Tourism Business License (SIUP): We hold a valid and current Surat Izin Usaha Pariwisata (Tourism Business License) issued by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf), authorizing us to operate as a premier tour and travel service provider.
  • Tax Compliance: We are registered with the Indonesian Directorate General of Taxes and hold a Nomor Pokok Wajib Pajak (NPWP). We are fully compliant with all corporate tax, VAT (PPN), and employee tax obligations.
  • Financial Integrity: As a subsidiary of Juara Holding Group, our financial statements are prepared in accordance with Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (SAK) and are subject to annual audits. We maintain strict anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) protocols aligned with the standards set by the PPATK.

Operational Safety & Certifications

Our commitment to safety extends to every detail of our operations and the operations of our partners.

  • Staff Welfare & Insurance: All our employees and full-time crew are registered for national social security (BPJS Ketenagakerjaan) and healthcare (BPJS Kesehatan), ensuring they are protected and cared for.
  • Transportation Safety:
    • Marine: Every yacht and vessel we charter holds a valid Seaworthiness Certificate and all other required documentation from the Directorate General of Sea Transportation (Ditjen Hubla). Crew members hold internationally recognized certifications (e.g., STCW).
    • Ground: Our vehicle fleet is subject to a rigorous maintenance schedule, is equipped with GPS tracking for security, and is operated only by professionally licensed and vetted drivers.
  • Quality Management Systems: We are actively implementing processes and procedures aligned with ISO 9001:2015 standards to ensure consistent quality and continuous improvement in our service delivery.

Client Security & Emergency Protocols

Protecting our clients’ privacy, security, and well-being is our highest priority.

  • Data Privacy: We operate in strict compliance with Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection (PDP) Law. All client information is encrypted, stored securely, and handled with absolute confidentiality under strict NDAs.
  • Comprehensive Emergency Response Plan (ERP): We have a detailed, documented ERP that is regularly updated and drilled. It covers protocols for medical emergencies (with links to international-standard clinics like BIMC), natural disaster scenarios (in coordination with guidelines from the BNPB – National Agency for Disaster Countermeasure), and security incidents.
  • 24/7 Crisis Management: A senior member of our team is on-call 24/7/365 to manage any client emergencies, providing a single point of contact for immediate, decisive action.

Marine Safety Protocols

Because so much of a Bali and eastern-Indonesia itinerary unfolds on the water, marine safety receives disproportionate attention in our operating procedures. Before any charter departs, our operations desk confirms that the vessel’s Seaworthiness Certificate, radio licence, and safety-equipment inspections are current, and that life-saving appliances — life rafts, lifejackets in every cabin, distress beacons, and fire-suppression systems — have been serviced within their mandated intervals. A vessel that cannot evidence this is not offered to our clients, regardless of how attractive its accommodation may be.

Passage plans are reviewed against BMKG marine weather forecasts before departure and reassessed at each anchorage, with contingency anchorages identified in advance for the Komodo, Sumba, and Raja Ampat cruising grounds. Tenders are operated only by designated crew, guests receive a safety briefing before every crossing, and night passages are undertaken only when sea state, moon, and crewing levels justify them. Our clients rarely notice these procedures at work; that is precisely the intention.

Crew Certification Standards

A vessel is only as safe as the people who run her. Every captain and deck officer aboard the yachts we charter holds a certificate of competency recognised by the Directorate General of Sea Transportation, together with STCW basic safety training covering firefighting, sea survival, and elementary first aid. Engineers hold the ratings appropriate to their machinery, and emergency drills — man overboard, fire, abandon ship — are logged on a regular cycle rather than performed once for a certificate photograph. Hospitality crew are additionally trained in food hygiene and guest-safety briefings. We review certification files as part of vetting each vessel and its operator, and we decline vessels whose paperwork cannot be verified to our satisfaction.

Medical Evacuation Readiness

For clients travelling beyond Bali’s well-served south — into Komodo National Park, Sumba, or the far reaches of Raja Ampat — medical response planning is completed before departure, not improvised after an incident. Each remote itinerary carries a medical annex identifying the nearest capable clinic, the closest hyperbaric chamber where diving is planned, and the fixed-wing and helicopter evacuation options available from each stage of the route, with realistic response-time estimates. We coordinate with established air-ambulance and medical-assistance providers, and we advise every client on appropriate evacuation insurance as a condition of remote travel. Clients who prefer continuous physician oversight throughout their journey may engage our private medical concierge, which places clinical support inside the itinerary itself rather than at the end of a phone line.

Security Vetting

Everyone who works in proximity to our clients is vetted before assignment. Drivers, crew, villa staff, and guides engaged through us undergo identity and background verification and reference checks, and we keep rosters deliberately small and consistent so that familiar faces, not strangers, surround a returning client. Itinerary details are shared internally on a need-to-know basis, and advance parties review venues and routes for higher-profile movements. Where a client’s profile calls for dedicated protective staffing, we arrange licensed close-protection personnel through our executive protection service, coordinated discreetly and, where appropriate, in liaison with local authorities.

Our commitment to safety and compliance is absolute. It is the bedrock upon which we build extraordinary experiences. For a confidential discussion or to review our compliance documentation, please contact our team or inquire about our services.
